General Mills has filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit alleging it misled shoppers by presenting Cheerios Protein as a " high protein, healthful alternative to Cheerios ", and insists the product complies with all relevant food labeling regulations. California Energy Commission unanimously approved Title 20 Appliance Efficiency Regulations despite sound and substantive policy recommendations by industry, lighting experts, and consumer groups working to ensure sustained market adoption and energy efficiency gains. According to NEMA President and CEO Kevin J. Cosgriff, approved regulations were based on poorly analyzed data of the emerging LED market. Vote will negatively affect growth and efficiency gains of LED technology in California.
