Cheswick-based next generation payment card company Dynamics Inc. announced it has raised $70 million in series C funding from a group of investors that includes MasterCard and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Existing investors Boston-based Bain Capital Ventures and Sewickley-based Adams Capital Management also participated in the round.

Guernsey Bank branches switching to First Financial

The old Guernsey offices in Worthington, Upper Arlington and Westerville will be closed on Dec. 6 and reopen on Dec. 8 under the First Financial brand. The makeover includes new signs outside the offices and work in the interior to reflect the change in ownership.

Australian Broadcasting Corporation: Australian renewable energy investment has received a $150 million boost with the release of the first local "climate bond" to finance local projects. National Australia Bank says proceeds from bond issue have been ring fenced to finance both wind and solar projects in Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia, New South Wales and the ACT.
