Guardian: A quarter of agricultural goods produced from illegally deforested land are destined for the EU, a new report has found, which estimates their value at more than EUR6bn (4.3bn) a year. United Parcel Service Inc. added 20 international destinations to its International Special Commodities program, which lets customers ship biological substances, dangerous goods in excepted quantities and shipments using dry ice. The Atlanta-based package shipping giant said it is trying to meet higher demand from biopharmaceutical manufacturers, diagnostics companies, laboratories and distributors.
