Samsung downgrades Q3 profit guidance on Note 7 woes

(Telecompaper) Samsung has revised its guidance for the third quarter downwards, on the back of its woes with the relaunched Galaxy Note 7. The company now expects revenues at KRW 46-48 trillion and the operating profit at KRW 5.1-5.3 trillion. Samsung had earlier guided for revenues at KRW 48-50 trillion and operating profit at KRW 7.7-7.9 trillion.
