For Astrium Procurement in Munich Ottobrunn within the area Supply Management for the department Supply Relationship Domain Instruments we are looking for a Resident Supplier Relationship Manager Jena mf. You will be the main and official point of contact for JOP suppliers, in charge of managing subcontract execution on quality on time on cost performance for 6 items of equipment, by delegation from the Sentinel 4 Project. Acting as a Sentinel 4 project focal point for Suppliers Managing all aspects of Supplier contract execution, you will be responsible for the delivery of equipment and related documentation services Performing followup of Supplier progress, from KickOff to delivery, and acting as the interface between Suppliers and the Project Supply Manager until the delivery point of equipment to Flight storesAIT Reporting to the Sentinel 4 Project on progress, risk, schedule and cost and quality management. Reporting on individual equipment status progress, technical issues, PA issues Managing the flow of change requests and change notices to and from Suppliers Conducting the acceptance and delivery process, including reviews Ensuring close monitoring and control of lower tier suppliers Undertaking all PA aspects through the Procurement process Account for the total cost of ownership, including the contribution of support functions We are looking for candidates with the following skills Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or equivalent Several years of experience in purchasing and product assurance principles Fundamental knowledge of the Supply Chain Good communication skills, high level of motivation and the ability to work autonomously Fluent negotiation level of German, advanced level of English The training period will take place in Munich Ottobrunn aftwards the position will be staffed in Jena.
