Johnson Controls lands $4M lighting contract in Binghamton, N.Y.

Johnson Controls Inc. has landed a $4 million contract to review all of the municipal lighting in Binghamton, N.Y., as the city moves toward conversion to LED technology. According to a media report , the Glendale-based company would map all of the city's street lights and determine the energy and cost savings of installing LED lights.

Motion sensors and rocker switches pair wirelessly with fixture control relay modules. Optimal for indoor applications, relays, sensors and switches support stand-alone room-level setup, but also network to building automation systems such as BACnet through standard gateways.
