For the last six years Dr. Thomas Tubon has worked as an instructor in the biotechnology lab at Madison College preparing college students for careers. This week he is in the same biotechnology lab, but he is working with middle school students in what is called the Biotech Boot Camp.

A "boot camp" for Realtors designed to train real estate professionals to help active duty and former military clients will be held Thursday, July 9, at the Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside. The event, hosted by Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, will conduct Certified Military Residential Specialist training for real estate agents.

Tamara Mellon, the businesswoman who built Jimmy Choo into a global brand, is launching a legal battle against her former company amid allegations of anti-competitive practices that were aimed at thwarting her new fashion label. Sky News has learnt that lawyers acting for Ms Mellon wrote to Jimmy Choo this week accusing it of obliging leading Italian leather suppliers to commit not to work with Tamara Mellon Brand LLC, a luxury fashion house she launched in 2013.
