Available in 3.5, 5.7, and 6.2 in. diagonal sizes, TFT monochrome LCDs provide drop-in upgrades for passive matrix monochrome displays. Front-of-screen brightness ranges from 100–700 cd/m², depending on size; contrast ratio is 800:1; and operating range is -20 to +70°C. While 3.5 and 5.7 in. LCDs offer 320 x 240 pixel (QVGA) resolution, 6.2 in. offers 640 x 320 pixel resolution. White LED backlighting is used by 5.7 and 6.2 in. LCDs, and 3.5 in. module is glass driver and flex only.
