Consumers far more likely to recommend online than traditional pay-TV services

U.S. consumer data from Parks Associates finds that the average net promoter score (NPS) for traditional pay-TV providers in 3Q 2018 was -19. By comparison, the average NPS for the major online pay-TV and OTT video services was positive.

78% of U.S. TV households subscribe to a pay-TV service

Research from Leichtman Research Group (LRG) finds that about 78% of U.S. TV households subscribe to some form of pay-TV service. The percentage of TV households that subscribe to a pay-TV service is down from 86% in 2013, 87% in 2008, and 81% in 2004.

NAGRA secures Sky Italias new retail DVB-T pay-TV service
