India to sign Paris climate change agreement on April 22

Times of India: On April 22, India will formally sign the Paris climate agreement, adopted by over 190 countries last year December. The agreement will be open for signature at the United Nations headquarters in New York for one year, from April 22, 2016 to April 21, 2017. DoE Discussions foster local climate change impact awareness.

To promote awareness of and effectively address climate change and its impacts at local, community level, U.S. DoE will conduct Community Leaders Institutes in St. Helena Island, SC (May 14); Savannah, GA (June 11); Charleston, SC (July 16); and Myrtle Beach, SC (August 20).
