3 New York colleges split $40K in Great Lakes project grants

Three western New York colleges are splitting more than $40,000 in a grant to conduct projects aimed at protecting the ecosystem of the Great Lakes. The Syracuse-based Great Lakes Research Consortium says the funds are going to Buffalo State College, the University at Buffalo, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva.
