Ethan Allen Elects Tara Stacom to Board of Directors

Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. today announced that Tara I. Stacom has been elected to the Company's Board of Directors, effective immediately. The Company also announced that two of its long-standing directors, Frank Wisner and Kristin Gamble, are retiring from the Company's Board of Directors immediately prior to its 2015 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

SME has elected 7 manufacturing practitioners, researchers, and educators to its College of Fellows. SME Fellows are individuals from industry, research, and academia who must have 20+ years of experience in manufacturing. In addition, they need to have demonstrated an overall impact to social, technological, and educational aspects of the manufacturing profession, and be a current member of SME. They join the more than 370 SME members who have been elected since program’s inception.

Cargill elects MacLennan as next chairman

Cargill’s board of directors has elected David W. MacLennan, currently Cargill’s president and chief executive officer, as chairman of the board in addition to his current responsibilities. Gregory R. Page, 64, will step down as executive chairman and continue to serve on the board as an executive director of the company. “The board appreciates David’s leadership and management of the company. We have the highest confidence he will deliver long term growth for Cargill. Now is the time for him to lead the board as well,” Page said.  read more
