PUCO approves upgrade of rail crossings in Carroll and Stark counties

COLUMBUS, OHIO (Nov. 21, 2019) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) today approved a subsidy agreement to allow OHI-Rail Corp. (OHI) to make upgrades at two crossings in Carroll and Stark counties. The PUCO will provide funds from the State Grade Crossing Protection Fund to cover part of the cost of the projects.

COLUMBUS, OHIO (Nov. 6, 2019) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) today approved construction authorization from the Ohio Rail Development Commission directing Indiana & Ohio Railroad (IORY) and Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad (WE) to make installations and upgrades at two crossings in Clark and Crawford counties.
