Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she would support lifting the U.S.'s 40-year-old ban on oil exports only as part of a broader plan that included concessions from the oil and natural gas industry. "In general, in the absence of a broader energy plan that does include concessions from the oil and gas industry, I don't think the ban should be lifted," Mrs. Clinton, the top Democratic candidate for president, told reporters Friday.

Representatives of some riverfront businesses in Clinton are expressing concerns from the community about trains stopping in busy parts of town for long periods of time, blocking easy access to the rest of the city. They say the stopped trains aren't only impacting business, but also causing serious safety concerns about what would happen in an emergency.
