Since 1995, ASTM International has funded nature programs and field trips for local elementary schools in conjunction with Riverbend Environmental Education Center. In after-school nature club at Conshohocken Elementary, students learned about water cycle and got to see live demonstration with water-based animals. During field trip to Riverbend, first grade students from Bridgeport Elementary experienced pond and stream lesson with live animals as well as stream and pond exploration.
