Incremental Encoders offer interpolable Sin/Cos interface.
2014-07-01 14:31:11| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Using 2 Sin/Cos signals offset by 90°, from which quasi-continuous control behavior can be derived, Kübler Sendix 5814 and 5834 provide interpolable Sin/Cos differential signals with U = 1 VSS. Subdivision by control of sinusoidal curve produces high resolution that, due to signal quality of encoders, can be interpolated up to 16 bits. Supplied in die-cast zinc housing, IP65-rated encoders resist interference and operate from -40 to 194°F, making them suitable for motor feedback applications. When used in compliance with its intended protection level as absolute multiturn or singleturn encoder, Sendix 7000 series reduces existing explosion hazard. Products feature such safety features as Safety-Lock™ flameproof housing design with IP67 rating and approval throughout Europe for ATEX zones 1, 2, 21, and 22. Also, shock- and vibration-proof, aluminum housing is seawater resistant and suited for offshore use. Products offer up to 5,000 ppr and operate from -40 to +140°F. Mini Incremental Optical Encoder has filtering optics, AGC, AOC.
2014-03-19 13:30:38| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
With readhead as small as 6.7 x 12.7 x 20.5 mm, ATOM™ non-contact optical linear and rotary incremental encoder system uses filtering optics with Auto Gain Control (AGC) and Auto Offset Control (AOC) for optimal signal stability and dirt immunity. Encoder offers analog speeds to 20 m/sec (29,000 rpm on 17 mm disc) and digital resolutions to 1 nm when used with Renishaw interpolation electronics. Scale options include linear and rotary (angle) scales in stainless steel and glass. This story is related to the following:Test and Measuring InstrumentsMiniature Encoders | Optical Encoders
