You will have the following responsibilities Functional testing with AIT for Satellite projects Development of functional test for Payload Data Chain which insolves all units on the satellite from massmemory via the downlink system and the decryption of the data Data handling chain support failure analysis in case of findings Data analysis carried out in the central checkout system CCS5 using the TLC scripting language Handling the electrical ground support equipment connected to the data chain. Position Reference 105 You will have the opportunity to provide engineering support in preparation of test plans, procedures and test sequences for Satellite sytems testing during ambient and environmental test campaigns and preparing, debugging and executing complex test sequences on flight spacecrafts and test benches. Moreover, you will be responsible for writing test reports and supporting test and nonconformance reviews. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Interpretation of electrical and functional test requirements from test specifications Provide test solutions to meet the test specification requirements, from planning and kickoff meeting, through test sequence coding, procedure preparation and debug to execution. Close out tests with Post Test Review and Test Report To provide technical inputs to project test reviews Test Readiness Reviews, Post Test Reviews, Test Review Boards and Non Conformance Review Boards Development and debug of Automatic Test procedures ATP using a bespoke high level SW language Open Center checkout system based on the Elisa langauge to test the spacecraft systems Preparing and executing spacecraft system investigations in line with actions from Non Conformance Review Boards NRBs. Support Spacecraft systems functional and perfomance tests during environmental test in Munich, Germany Reference test, TVAC, Magnetic, EMC, functional and performance tests and potentially launch activities in Florida. Work to company and departmental procedures and maintain adherence to EN 9001 Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a degree in an Electrical Engineering related discipline or have at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role. You have current handson experience of writing test sequencesscripts for execution of spacecraft tests from the Central Checkout System CCS. Knowledge of Elisa andor Open Center would be an advantage. You have working knowledge of TMTC Databases. You have spacecraft systems and subsystem technical knowledge and awareness, e.g. Data Handling, Packet Utilisation Standard, Data Bus Communications 1553, Spacewire, Attitude , Orbital Control, Star Trackers, Gyros, Momentum Wheels, Power systems, batteries, Solar Arrays, Thermal Control, heaters, thermostats, FDIR You are familiar with the Windows and Linux operaing systems. You are aware of cleanroom disciplines. You have knowledge of Model Based Development Verification. You are willing to support shifts and travel overseas on test campaigns essential. You have experience in writing test sequencesscripts for execution of spacecraft systems tests including FDIR from the Central Checkout System CCS. You have experience in ElectricalSpacecraft Systems fault investigation and test sequence debug. You have experience with environmental and launch test campaigns. You have experience in preparing test procedure and sequences from test specifications, writing test reports and supporting test and nonconformance reviews. The following skills would be highly desirable You have experience with programming and scripting languages, in particularly writing and debugging LinuxUnix bash scripts. Knowledge of a programming language such as C, Java, python, TCL, VBA. You are competent in the use of various test equipment used for electrical measurements, e.g. DMM, oscilloscope, current probes, Data acquisition unit, data bus monitors 1553 MilBus and SpaceWire probesanalysers. You have spacecraft electrical and harness knowledge. You have experience in electrical integration of equipments on a test bench or spacecraft.
