The second of two men charged in the horrific 2014 carjacking and high-speed chase that killed a mother and her three children in North Philadelphia, pleaded guilty Tuesday and was sentenced to 50 to 100 years in prison. Cornelius Crawford, 25, of Logan, apologized for his role in the July 25, 2014, crimes, which began when he an an accomplice carjacked and sexually assaulted a real estate agent and ended at Allegheny and Germantown Avenues with the deaths of Keisha Williams and children Keiearra Williams, 15; Thomas Joseph Reed, 10; and Terrence Williams, 7. The speeding stolen Toyota 4Runner plowed into the family as they sold fruit to raise money for their church.

Boingo Wireless Inc., which manages high-speed Internet service at nearly 60 airports worldwide, said Monday it has increased the Wi-Fi speed at seven US airports, including Logan. Access to free Wi-Fi at Logan still requires travelers engage in an activity such as watching a 30-second video advertisement, and there is a time limit of 45 minutes, Boingo said.

Toll Brothers acquired the 1.25-acre site from the Cohen Cos., developer of the Loree Grand at 250 K St. NE, in May 2013 for $30.1 million. Last October, the Horsham, Pennsylvania-based Toll Brothers earned zoning commission approval for a two-phase project, one phase with 296 units and the second with 229, in addition to more than 16,000 square feet of retail.
