Shares of Universal Stainless & Alloy Products rose today after the Bridgeville specialty metals producer reported better than expected fourth-quarter results. Net income for the period totaled $1.7 million, or 24 cents per share, vs. a loss of $2.9 million, or 41 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
