Eleven local governmental bodies, trade groups, labor groups and others have filed amici “friend of the court” support for the Cadiz Valley Water Conservation, Recovery and Storage Project in a remote Mojave Desert section of San Bernardino County. In 2014, Orange County Superior Court Judge Gail Andler rejected challenges to block the project, but early this year the Center for Biological Diversity and Tetra Technologies appealed these decisions.
