Navantia has launched the ninth LLC fast-landing craft for the Royal Australian Navy. Part of a 12-vessel fleet, the design of these ships is based on the fast-landing crafts built also by Navantia for the Spanish Navy between 2006 and 2008.

On October 31, the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals denied an appeal by Alaska Railroad Corporation and Aurora Energy Services, LLC, to have an entire 11-judge panel rehear their case rather than the three-judge panel that ruled against them on September 3, 2014. This appears to exhaust appeal avenues in the Ninth Circuit open to the defendants in the original case brought against them by plaintiffs, Alaska Community Action on Toxics and Alaska Chapter of the Sierra Club.

On September 19, 2014, Pom Wonderful, LLC dropped its Ninth Circuit appeal of a ruling that dismissed its state deceptive advertising and unfair competition claims against Coca-Cola, a sibling case to a recent Supreme Court decision. Accordingly, the Ninth Circuit will not revisit whether Pom Wonderful's state court claims were preempted by the FDCA.
