Aufgaben Tasks The EUMETSAT TSS Technical and Scientific Support Department provides in an integrated manner scientific and engineering support to EUMETSATs programmes during the development and operations phases, and process assurance project control to the whole organisation. Within the TSS Department, the GSI Generic Systems and Infrastructure Division is in charge of engineering, maintaining and upgrading generic ground segment functions, services, infrastructure and tools in response to requirements of operational and future programmes. The Mission Control Applications and Tools Team under the GSI Division is responsible for the maintenance and evolution of all Satellite and Ground Segment MC applications and tools. This includes MC kernel, MC archive, Flight Dynamics, Mission Planning functions and the MCrelated tools. The key person shall work in the Mission Control Applications and Tools Team providing hisher prime support to the engineering and maintenance of the Mission Planning facility, but also will provide some software engineering support to the rest of facilities under the responsibility of the Mission Control Applications and Tools Team.
