Bristol has a nice disposition. He has been home bred and handled. He has elastic paces and moves gracefully. He loves people and is easy to catch, groom, etc. He is regularly wormed and all shots etc are up to date. He has been worked in the round pen.

Color! Buckskin Thoroughbred cross started under saddle

Freebs is a uniquely colored sweet buckskin thoroughbred cross. We were present for his birth and he has been raised being handled daily. Started as a 2 year old under saddle and never even tried to buck, bolt or rear. Very willing. Smooth gaits with a daisy cutter trot. Great ground manners. Has been shown halter and won! Will make a great horse for a smaller adult or youth who wants a green-broke prospect with a great start. He has been so easy to start, and I think he will be just as easy to finish. Freebs is currently ridden by a 15 yr old girl and doing great! Owner owns his mother, a registered thoroughbred hunter mare. Freebs is 14.3 hh now, will mature over 15 hh. Caleb (Knob Rocks) is a 4-yo bay thoroughbred guelding (born march 6, 2006). He is registered with the Jockey Club, no. J08390 (papers available). He is out of Tomahawk and Jazzy Jill,. Tomahawks sire was Seattle Slew (by Bold Reasonning) and his dam was Statuette (whos grand sire was Secretariat). Caleb has raced 7 times with no placement. Too slow for the track! Fortunatally, he came to me with no track injuries. He was pastured for over a year and started professional training last spring. Fine on the flat-WTC no problem although left side less smooth. He started on poles and small jumps but needs to focus more. He trails well and was fine on the road every time we hacked. He is a very smart guy with looks to kill! He is very sweet, loves attention, cross-ties well and stands for the ferrier and vet, no problem. He trailers easy (no tranqs). I was his sole owner after the breeder and he has come to be part of the family, but my experience in training horses being close to none, I cannot offer Caleb the right training he needs at this point and there is too much promise to him not to bring him to that higher level.
