Kellyville real estate agent found guilty of fraud

A real estate agent who created fictional property listings across The Hills to receive commissions has been found guilty of fraud. Shaun Crockford pleaded guilty to 12 fraud charges at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday, including taking more than $800,000 from his company's trust account and depositing it into his own bank account.

Used car salesman pleads guilty to bank fraud conspiracy

A Flint-area man has pleaded guilty after federal authorities claimed he used local car dealerships to organize a bank fraud scheme. Edward Frank Usewick III pleaded guilty Tuesday, March 29, in Flint U.S. District Court to one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud after he began using used car lots around the Flint-area to operate the scheme.

A onetime executive of Harman International Industries pleaded guilty to insider trading in October 2013, after buying shares in advance of the company's quarterly financial results then cashing in on a big jump in the price of Harman's stock. Norwalk resident Dennis W. Hamilton , 45, had been a vice president of tax at Stamford-based Harman , which sells audio gear and auto infotainment systems.

Former Harman International executive pleads guilty to insider trading

A former Harman International Industries Inc executive admitted on Monday to insider trading in the company's stock just prior to the release of a stronger-than-expected quarterly earnings report. Dennis Hamilton, a former vice president of tax at the maker of car audio systems, pleaded guilty to one count of securities fraud in the federal court in New Haven, Connecticut, U.S. Attorney Deirdre Daly said.
