Connie Lau, president and chief executive officer of Hawaiian Electric Industries and Jim Robo, chairman and chief executive officer of NextEra Energy answer questions on Dec. 3 about the merger of the two companies. The two companies announced in December that Florida-based NextEra plans to acquire Hawaiian Electric to expand clean energy in Hawaii.
