19 companies' profit set to implode

Look out below! Corporate profit growth is forecasted to crumble in the first quarter - and some companies' profit is expected to absolutely implode. There are 19 companies in the Standard & Poor's 500, including toymaker Mattel , oil company EOG Resources and online retailer Amazon.com where analysts expect adjusted profit for the first calendar quarter to fall 90% or more from the same period of 2014 - or swing from a profit to a loss, according to a USA TODAY review of data from S&P Capital IQ.
