It was 90 degrees Sunday afternoon when Palatine police drove by Advance Auto Parts and saw the back door of Griselda Martinez's van open, and dogs in crates from floor to ceiling could be seen from the street. There were 11 English and French bulldogs, adults and puppies, all suffering from a lack of air - and they all needed immediate medical attention.
