The second phase of the transformation of the terminal building, which has cost A 80million, was revealed today by Charlie Cornish, chief executive of parent company Manchester Airports Group . The renovations have meant that the departure lounge has been extended by more than half and there is 70 per cent more seating as well as free wi-fi, more charging points and flight countdown screens.
