Researchers at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) have developed a "3D+2D TV" that allows people with 3D glasses to see a 3D image while, at the same time, people without glasses can see a normal 2D image without ghosting. With 3D TV continuing its downward slide into obsolescent obscurity, and production companies and broadcasters scaling back on 3D content, is this the breakthrough that 3D TV needs?
