Offered in 6- and 14-slot sizes, 40G AdvancedTCA (ATCA) backplanes are designed to PICMG 3.0 Rev 3.0 specifications. Dual pluggable shelf manager/switch connections are available in 6-slot version. By combining shelf managers and switches, users gain 6 payload slots. Pluggable PEM (power entry module) options are available for 14-slot backplane.
