Fans of Apple thought its spring launch event would see the introduction of the iPhone 7, but it was in fact the iPhone SE that was unveiled, the new 'budget' smartphone which is the successor to the popular iPhone 5s. Rather than revealing the iPhone 7, which is expected to be announced in September 2016, Apple unveiled a cheaper iPhone SE model.
