Chipley joined 20 other GulfCoast communities Friday in welcoming Amtrak as the passenger train line rolled into Bill Lee Station for the first time in more than a decade. Dubbed the "Amtrak Inspection Train," Amtrak and the Southern Rail Commission conducted a tour across the GulfCoast, from New Orleans to Jacksonville Thursday and Friday.
