Shares of United Technologies Corporation were up more than 17 percent in Friday's after-hours trading session, ahead of the company's third-quarter financial results announcement, scheduled for before the market opens next Tuesday. According to Estimize , the Street expects the tech company to deliver earnings of $1.54 per share on revenue of $14.593 billion, considerably below the earnings of $1.82 per share on revenue of $16.168 billion registered a year ago.
