Two weeks ago, Beyond Proxy posted a link to an interview with Mark Massey of AltaRock Fund . I've never heard of Mr. Massey prior to that point, but his record suggests he's clearly worth listening to: Through August 2011 , he has outpaced the S&P 500 by more than 300 basis points per year for 20-plus years, despite having 30% of the fund's assets in cash equivalents.
