A dozen oil and gas jobs cut

Twelve staff at gas detection company Entec have lost their jobs over two rounds of redundancies blamed on the downturn in the oil and gas industry. The 12 staff represent about 15 per cent of the company's workforce which operates out of Taranaki and Auckland, said Entec Managing Director Bob Weston.
