American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) updated and released AAMA 907, Voluntary Specification for Corrosion Resistant Coatings on Carbon Steel Components Used in Windows, Doors, and Skylights, which specifies requirements for corrosion resistant coatings on carbon steels. Re-worked to be more performance focused and less prescriptive, update includes new test report section and clarified scope. Specification does not imply specific service life or cover fasteners.
