Reuters: Swiss industrial group ABB (ABBN.VX) is to buy solar energy firm Power-One Inc (PWER.O) for about $1 billion, betting growth in emerging markets will revive a sector ravaged by overcapacity and plunging demand in recession-hit Europe.
