Rated for pressures to 35,000 psi at continuous temperatures to 450°F, High-Temperature High-Pressure Linear Displacement Transducers (LVDTs) have .30 in. OD body with perforated housing that equalizes internal and external pressure. Fluids must be electrically non-conductive and chemically benign, since holes in housing expose internal coils. Non-linearity is ±0.25%, and temperature coefficient of sensitivity is ±0.01%/°F. Signal conditioners for DC/DC or 4–20 mA operation are available.
