AFIC hunting for quality mid-cap stocks

AFIC managing director Ross Barker says the LIC did a bit of trimming to the banks because of its big exposure there and to the retail giants because they were facing some pretty strong competition. Australian Foundation Investment Company is pumping up its exposure to healthcare and diversified financial stocks in 2016, as the $6.2 billion investment house combs for quality companies in the mid-cap sector.
