Aerospace Industries Association will present Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), chairwoman of Senate Appropriations Committee, with Wings of Liberty Award on September 18 in recognition of her longtime support of U.S. aerospace priorities, including national security, aviation, space exploration, and weather forecasting programs. In her commendation, AIA's Marion C. Blakey noted Mikulski's longstanding leadership on critical issues and impassioned efforts regarding sequestration cuts.
