AK Steel CEO sees big jump in pay

AK Steel's Chairman, President and CEO James Wainscott earned slightly more than $4 million in 2014, a 21 percent increase from the $3.3 million the previous year, according to a proxy statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission this week. Broken down, Wainscott's take includes a $1.2 million base salary; $1.9 million in stock awards; $582,000 in option awards; $288,000 in non-equity incentive plan compensation; and $116,000 in other compensation.
