AMC making miniseries on roots of 5 New York Mafia families

The network announced Saturday that it was making an eight-hour miniseries, "Making of the Mob: New York," on the roots of the five crime families that made up the American Mafia. Each one-hour episode will be paired with a mob-related film, like "The Godfather," ''Goodfellas" ''Donnie Brasco" and "Scarface."
