ARM, TSMC complete 16nm Cortex-A57 tape-out, chip launching no time soon

TSMC and ARM have announced the tapeout of a Cortex-A57 64-bit chip on TSMC's future 16nm FinFET process - but don't look for the chip to ship this year -- or any time before late 2015.
