ASQ issued 9,800+ certifications in USA in 2014 as part of Manufacturing Institute partnership designed to help fill advanced manufacturing positions. In comment, ASQ CEO William Troy expressed pride in helping "provide workers with the knowledge they need to be successful in skilled manufacturing positions.” ASQ offers 18 certifications, including Certified Quality Technician, Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Inspector, and Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
