AT&T to sell DirecTV bundles for any web connection

(Telecompaper) AT&T plans to allow customers to access and stream DirecTV over fixed or mobile internet connections from any provider and virtually any device starting in the fourth quarter. It plans to make three new affordable video offers with premium content, choice an flexibility in what they watch and how. The services will not require annual contracts, satellite dishes or set-top boxes. AT&T said it will continue to provide DirecTV's premium satellite TV entertainment service and its U-verse TV and internet service
