While the fact is nobody even knows what fifth generation wireless broadband will even be , that hasn't stopped Verizon from insisting that it's launching trials of the technology starting next year. Verizon says the company plans to begin some form of commercial deployment of the technology in 2017, and ultimately says it plans to offer gigabit wireless speeds.
