AVX Corporation, a leading manufacturer of advanced passive components and interconnect solutions, has added several new high temperature varistors to its radial leaded TransGuard® Automotive Series. Based on AVX's patented multilayer varistor (MLV) technology, the new components are rated for -55 degrees Celsius to +150 degrees Celsius, qualified to AEC-Q200, and feature a robust construction that enables sustained peak performance in an expanded range of harsh environment and high temperature applications, such as under hood and down hole drilling.
