Accidental death slows solar project connections for Duke Energy Progress

The electrocution death of a Duke Energy Progress contractor is delaying connection efforts for some solar projects in North Carolina as the utility and its vendor try to determine what happened and what measures are needed to prevent future accidents. Duke spokesman Randy Wheeless says the utility has not suspended solar farm connections.
