A former Cargill Inc. executive is fighting an effort by the agribusiness giant to block him from joining a competitor, and denies charges that he stole proprietary trade secrets from Cargill. Cargill sued Kuan in August , claiming he downloaded "hundreds of highly confidential and proprietary" files and stored them on an external drive before he left.
