Activist investor ends proxy fight with Select Comfort

The activist investment firm trying to unseat two Select Comfort Corp. directors with its own candidates has given up its fight. Minneapolis-based Blue Clay Capital Management sent a letter to Select Comfort shareholders telling them it's pleased with the actions taken by the Plymouth-based mattress company and withdrew its board nominees.
